For 2015, the topic was innovation and new ideas about architectural preservation. The site was an old mining town called Pyramiden, which is located at a remote corner of Svalbard. The activity has been shut down and the deserted town could easily be sentenced to serve as yet another retroactive collection of outdoor museum pieces. We wished to question this approach and challenge everyone's position on architectural preservation, to develop new perceptions and novel ideas, and to experiment with concepts and programs for the preservation of Pyramiden.
